Strategically New branchs are inaugurated
Always following the evolution of market which acts, M.Cassab increases your business with the creation of two branchs that one of them is in Itajaí, SC and the other one is in Cuiabá, MT
The Itajaí branch will be responsible for 20% on average of the volume of imports of Industrial and Fine Chemical Division and 5% of Housewares Goods. The structure is compound by office, technical team and warehouse. For Housewares Goods the branch will be helpful for receive and to ship. "The branch will be physically more close to the clients and it will be an strategic differential in business", explains Jaime Mative, Administrative Manager of the company.
Cuiabá, MT branch will support the Animal Nutrition and Animal Health in the services to clients of Mato Grosso because it is located in a region where the agribusiness is in a constant development.
M.Cassab obtains PRODIR's certification
In July 3th M.Cassab passed to a audit from BSI, that
analysed all the itens to govern the norm and declared the
company able to obtain the certification, that assures the
company distribute seus products responsibly (based on norms
of security and enviroment). The oficial delivers of certification
was in June 22, in Associquim (Associação
Brasileira dos Distribuidores de Produtos Quimicos e Petroquimicos)
The PRODIR - Process of Responsible
Distribution - is a voluntary initiative developed by Associquim
and the associated companys, connections to the chemical
products distribution commerce. Implanted in EUA in 1992
for the NACD (Association of the American Chemical Distributors)
was adapted to brazilian conditions and reality. The base
of PRODIR involves the need of determine parameters of evaluation
that incorporate not alone the operational aspects, but
also, to political, the management and the compromising
of the high administration with the trial of change and
continuous improvement of the conditions of health, security
and environment.
Agreement of Alessandra Cordaro, quality
assistant and responsible to coordinate de process to implant
norm, in a short time was possible adapt allt the pending
things in internal audit by training about what represents
the certificate and daily visits to the involved places.

of security feed was in Brazil
Event of FAO/ONU and IFIF showed
matters like international commerce, biotecnology and world
panorama of the food chain
FAO/ONU (Food and Agricultural Organization/Organização
das Nações Unidas) e a IFIF (International
Feed Industry Federation) realized in Brazil the first edition
of Global Feed&Food Congress. The organization of the
event - that happened in São Paulo during for July
11, 12 and 13 - was mad by Sindirações (Sindicato
Nacional da Indústria de Alimentação
Animal).
The congress approached matters conectedsof
all the segments of food chain: since manufacturers foods
of animal, agroindústrias, chemical industry and
vet, creators, food industries, wholesalers and retail trade
until doctors and nutricians, governmental entities, institutions
of research and education, and others. There was participants
of countries producing and consumers, specially USA, Union
European, Latin America and China.
The object was generate a broad and
deep one debates, where was discuted ideas and shared experiences
about quality and conformity os animal's food. Was discuted
norms that will govern international commerce looking for
prodution of security feeds, fundamental for the obtaining
of equally dependable sustenances. "The congress was
the beginning of a way to pratics solutions. The prodution
of security foods and adoption of Good Manufacturing Practices,
we will reduct waste, improve the quality and price of foods,
generate more jobs and increase de demand ontern and extern",
afirms mario Sergio Cutait, presidente of Sindirações
and director of Animal Nutrition Divisão of M.Cassab.
Still agreement with Cutait, "Brazil is more advanced
in security food than believes the countries observants.
To conquer a position of liderance in export of food and
atends a big internal market, we had to adapt us and accompany
tecnologies jumps of industrial and animal prodution - there
are 40 milions of tons producres on year - behind only USA
and China produtions.
Importance of Brazilian Food Industries
Brazil was choosen like a place of
first edition of Global Feed & Food Congress by it be
considered a "world granary". The agribussiness

Children of Cidade Júlia and
M.Cassab's staffs participated of McDIA FELIZ
M.Cassab
contributed to campaign McDIA FELIZ this year, that happened
in August 27, acquiring in advance tickets BigMac and distributing
them to your staff and to children of Community Center Cidade
Júlia, institution built and maintained of M.Cassab.
Beyond to collaborate with te campaign tha company provided
a unforgettable day to this children.
To Cidade Júlia was offered
a number one complete (BigMac+fries potato+soft drink).
The childrem was taken to Mc Donald's in Washington Luiz
Avenue, in Santo Amaro, by rented bus. Arrived there they
participated to the arts office mounted in the place and
after played and se divertirem a lot was served the snack.
"It was a very happy day. The children stayed satisfied
to went to Mc Donald's to play and eat a delicious snack,
thing that doesn't it do part of your day by day",
says Natália Rocumback, who accompanied the children
inthis day. The staff of M.Cassab wined a ticket BigMac
and were able to change to sandwich in any stor participant
of the campaign.
The objective of this campaign is donate the value obtained
with the sell of BigMac (discounting the taxes) to intitutions
that take care of children they have cancer. In São
Paulo, the institution benefited was GRAACC - Group of Support
to the Adolescent and to the Infant with Cancer. The total
will help to maintain na finalize the construction of new
House of Support, that attends de demand of lodging children
and adolescents of others states in medical treatment on
GRAACC.
Agreement with Eliana Cachuf, Human
Research manager, actions like this fortify the company's
commitment with theirs philosophical values, reflecting
to image that staff and market have to the company.
