Who we are
The M. Cassab group has been supplying
the market for 75 years with high quality raw material,
products and services.
With its philosophy of focusing
the quality of its products and services, as well as with
the respect achieved from its clients and suppliers, M.
Cassab works today in several segments, keeping the same
seriousness and trust.
In this successful path surrounded
by dignity and skill that, in 1989, the M. Cassab laboratory
of analyses was launched.
Counting with a team of experts
and technicians of intermediate and graduate degree, the
Laboratory develops its activities equipped with next generation
instruments, using liquid chromatography techniques, spectrometry
UV/Visible, spectrometry of atomic emission (EAA), titlemetry,
gravimetry and other.
How we Are
M.Cassab currently holds 19.000m² of built
area. From those, 350 m² are occupied by the Laboratory
and administrative offices. All the areas work integrated,
always aiming to intensify the actions related to food safety,
improvement of food quality, customer information and Brazilian
laws.
What we Do
Joining its experts team, its modern infrastructure and
the ISSO 9001:2000 certified quality, the Laboratory develops
its research and development activities on the following
lines:
· Standardizing and development of physical-chemical
and nutritional methods for the performance of analysis
with raw material and processed food during their processing
and/or storage and shelves life;
· Development of techniques for the formulation and
achievement of products enriched or strengthened with minerals
and vitamins;
· Quality control of food, considering the labeling
and nutritional evaluation, centesimal composition, analysis
of vitamins and minerals, additives, etc. With the preparation
of reports and technical opinions for the purposes of export
and register of products;
Beside following all the process of quality control of the
raw material and finished goods, it also provides analysis
services to external clients, having within its client portfolios
the main companies, not only from the animal nutrition sector,
but also from the chemicals, human nutrition, cosmetics
and pharmacy sectors.
The current capacity of processing more than 200 different
kinds of analysis, with the ISO 9001 certification, provides
the laboratory a prominent position, being also a reference
within the segment, for analytical methodology.

ISO 9001:2000
In 2003, the M.Cassab laboratory had its Quality Management
System re-certified according to the norms NBR ISO 9001:2000,
by the company SGS ICS Certificadora Ltda.
